2018 Safety Week at Del E. Webb School of Construction

October 8 – 10, 2018

Safety Week at Del E. Webb School of Construction is an opportunity to highlight the importance of safety in every aspect of the construction industry starting in the classroom.

Safety Week brings safety professionals into the construction classroom to emphasize safety in every aspect of a project. It introduces safety as a career to students and demonstrates the various ways companies keep their employees safe. It also showcases the safety equipment available. Safety Week culminates with the 6th Annual Safety Days and the Vesting Ceremony sponsored by Bechtel, providing incoming students with their own personal protective equipment (PPE), setting a safety standard as they begin their academic career at ASU. It prepares the students with the required PPE to attend site visits and tours with their classes.

In addition to targeted safety messages in our academic courses, we offer several low-cost events open to the public. Registration is required. See below for details.
