| The overall goal of this research is to
demonstrate how successful is the design and construction of a
monumental project, the Sydney Opera House.
The ultimate determination of the success or failure in the
construction and design of the monumental project will be determined
by how closely it follows the initial layout of the architect.
Successful collection of data will provide a section for the pending
database of construction management of monumental projects. The four key factors that will be examined over
the course of this project are challenges posed during building,
external pressures from the community at large, design innovations by
engineers, and personal influence of management on the construction of
the Sydney Opera House. |
