History:
In 2001, the Office of the President on American Indian Initiatives and the Del E. Webb School of Construction (DEWSC) at Arizona State University established the Construction in Indian Country (CIIC) organization. CIIC was created to assist in the quality management of construction among American Indian sovereignties while providing educational opportunities for American Indian students enrolled in the DEWSC. CIIC is guided by members of the Executive Committee who represent a variety of professional expertise in the construction industry, design, financial, legal, academic, tribal, federal, public and private entities. CIIC is housed within the Del E. Webb School of Construction, Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University.
