The Council of Academic Advisors (CAA) at ASU has selected two academic advisors in the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering for an Excellence in Advising award for 2009. The award winners are:
- Sue Mueller (Del E. Webb School of Construction) – Experienced Advisor (>=5 years advising @ ASU)
- Mia Kroeger (School of Materials) – New Advisor (2 years advising @ ASU)
This award recognition program for academic advising is in its third year, and this is a consecutive win for engineering. Last year, Lauren Levin (CESE) was the recipient for the Excellence in Advising-Experienced Advisor
category.One of engineering’s assets is quality advising. I am extremely proud that we now have three academic advisors recognized for excellence.
I hope the academic advising community will join me at the award ceremony on February 11, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. on the Polytechnic campus to celebrate with all the award winners for 2009.
