Del E. Webb School of Construction students are again preparing for the Annual ASC Region VI and VII Reno Team Competition. The competition will take place February 11 - 14, 2009 in Reno, Nevada. The event serves as a tremendous learning experience for students to attain a better understanding of construction outside of the classroom.
The DEWSC teams have performed well in the past and are poised to perform with many returning students to the team rosters. The Construction Management Competition is held nationwide over seven distinct regions. Each region consists of eight categories representing Residential, Commercial, Heavy/Civil, Design-Build Construction, Pre-Construction, LEED, BIM, and Marine. In most cases, the winners from each category in each region then compete on the national level against the remaining six regions for the national title.
