Call for Proposals: 5th Annual “Construction in Indian Country” Conference and Golf Mixer
May 12-14, 2008, Radisson Fort McDowell Resort, Fort McDowell, AZ
Deadline is Friday, March 7, 2008

Call for Proposals:
The “Construction in Indian Country” (CIIC) Conference promotes positive and quality management of construction in Indian Country while providing educational opportunities to American Indian students in Arizona State University’s Del E. Webb School of Construction. The conference provides networking opportunities among tribal decision-makers, construction professionals, developers, Federal, state and local agencies. Sponsorship and proceeds from the conference and golf mixer go toward an educational endowment and grant for current and future American Indian construction students. Presentations:
We are now accepting presentation proposals for our upcoming 5th Annual Construction in Indian Country Conference. Sessions are 90 minutes long and will consist of three speakers each. Presentations must be related to construction, design and development in Indian Country. This year’s updated topics include:

Legal Issues
Regulatory Issues
Project Successes
Budgets
Finance
Infrastructure
Alternative Project Development
Planning and Pre-Construction
Housing Issues
Sustainable and Environmental Issues
New! Hands-On Training

Presenters, as your proposal please submit the attached application with a brief outline summarizing your presentation.
In order to be considered, proposals must be received by Friday, March 7, 2008 via email at
ksilent@asu.edu.

For those selected a PowerPoint presentation will be required. As a presenter, your time will be entirely voluntary. Travel and hotel accommodations will not be compensated but presenters will be allowed to attend the conference for free (not including the Golf Mixer). For more information, please email
