Curriculum and Academic Provisions

The total credit hours for completing the dual degree program is 42.  For an ASU degree, the total credit hours to be completed are 30 for the thesis option.  For an ITESM degree, the total credit hours to be completed are 36.  Due to the similarity of the programs of study leading to the respective degrees, ASU and ITESM have agreed to the following:

  • The Construction international business course will be offered concurrently by both universities.  Therefore the course will be registered at both institutions.
  • The students will be able to take elective courses at either university.
  • An ASU student must take 21 credits at ASU as well as 21 credits – including the “Estancia Empresarial,” which is an equivalent to an internship – at ITESM.  As such, an ITESM student must take 21 credits at ITESM, as well as 21 credits, including the internship, at ASU.
