American Indian Construction Management Grant The CIIC Executive Committee established the American Indian Construction Management Grant through the sponsorship and proceeds of the annual CIIC Conference and Golf Mixer for current American Indian students enrolled in the Del E. Webb School of Construction. We are very proud to say that through the efforts of last year’s conference and golf tournament we awarded four new American Indian students each a $1,000 grant. 2008 Grant Recipients:
Brianne A. Arviso -
Currently a senior within the
DEWSC, Brianne is majoring in construction management with a
concentration in general/commercial building with a minor in
business. A member of the Navajo Nation, she is originally from
Gallup, NM and plans to return home after graduation to start
her own construction business.
Travina Greyeyes -
Travina is a member of the Navajo Nation
originally from Chinle, AZ. Majoring in heavy construction,
Travina plans on working to improve the Navajo’s heavy
construction industry, gain as much experience before returning
to the Navajo Nation and considers starting her own business.
Jo-Nathan E. Crank -
Jo-Nathan
is a member of the Navajo Nation originally from Black Mesa,
AZ. Currently a senior within the DEWSC, Jo-Nathan is majoring
in construction management with a minor in business. His goals
are to graduate from the program.
