
Our History
The Construction in Indian Country (CIIC) is a non-profit organization established in 2001in a joint effort from the Office of the President on American Indian Initiatives and the Del E. Webb School of Construction (DEWSC) at Arizona State University. CIIC was created to assist in the quality management of construction among American Indian sovereignties while providing educational opportunities for American Indian students enrolled in the DEWSC. CIIC is guided by members of the Executive Committee who represent a variety of professional expertise in the construction industry, design, financial, legal, academic, tribal, federal, public and private entities. CIIC is housed within the Del E. Webb School of Construction, School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment, Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University.
