Susanne Leckband Irrigation Section Manager, U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Phoenix, AZ. Ms. Leckband was nominated by the Professional Engineers in Construction, the Board of Governors, Washington, D.C. Her achievements include being a Professional Engineer, actively encouraging young women to enter the career of construction, and providing strong leadership in the National Society of Professional Engineers.
Ms. Leckband is recognized as a pioneer in the engineering profession for utilizing the principles and practices of Total Quality Management (TQM).
