Catherine Taylor
Catherine Taylor President, Jim Taylor, Inc., Belleville, IL. Employed by the company in 1969 as Clerk/Estimator, Ms. Taylor's career steadily progressed in responsibility and scope to her present position. She has been recognized as a Certified Professional Estimator by the American Society of Professional Estimators since 1978, was selected to be the first woman for induction into the Estimator's Hall of Fame, and was given the "WIC of the Year" award of the Greater Bellville, Illinois Chapter of NAWIC.
She is a member of NAWIC, the American Society of Professional Estimators, the Southern Illinois Builders' Association, and the Roofing Contractors of Greater St. Louis.
She wrote, "Receiving the award had a dramatic effect on
my life. The recognition forced me to reevaluate my priorities.
I reaffirmed my commitment to my company, family relationships,
and to the construction industry. Winning such a prestigious award
forces you to set even higher standards for yourself."
