Outstanding Construction Alumni Nomination Process
The Construction Alumni Association is soliciting nominations for an outstanding construction alumni who will be recognized at the annual Construction Recognition Banquet. This is an annual selection, made from nominations provided to the Association. Criteria for nominations are:
- The nominee must be a Construction graduate of ASU.
- The nominee must be a graduate of at least 10 years. The committee
will make its selection from information provided about the
nominee's:
- School and/or University support. List quantity and frequency.
- Standing in the Construction Industry. List examples of achievements, peer recognition.
- Trade Organization involvement. List organizations and/or membership.
- Financial support (Alumni, community, school). Indicate type and participation. Amounts are optional.
- Civic (Community organizations). List community organizations, contributions, and involvements and to improve the community.
- Involvement with continuing education or support. Indicate the feedback and contributions made to the schools/university programs in time, presentations, classes taught.
- Level of education. Graduate degrees or professional trade recognitions for educational excellence.
- Additional information that may help in the selection of your candidate.
To nominate an individual for the ASU Construction Alumni Excellence Award, submit a packet consisting of a resume and additional documentation and reference supporting each of the above seven areas to

Packets need to arrive before July 1 each nomination year. The selection committee will begin deliberations August 1, and will make its selection by the end of September. A recognition plaque will be presented to the Outstanding Alumni at the Construction Recognition Banquet in October. A memorial plaque is on permanent display in the Del E. Webb School of Construction.
