Gary R. Linthicum
Mr. Rojas received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction from the School of Engineering in 1976 at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.
During his 33-year career with the Salt River Project (SRP), Tony has worked on several major projects as part of the Project Management Department. These projects include office facilities for corporate operations, a combined cycle gas/oil turbine plant, a hydro feasibility project, a 43 mile coal haul railroad spur, a two unit coal fired generating station, the Safety of Dams Plan 6 Projects involving Roosevelt Dam, Stewart Dam and the Verde River Facilities. He managed the Navajo Scrubber Project, a $470 million flue gas desulphurization retrofit project at the Navajo Generating Station. He is presently Manager for Engineering & Construction Services.
Tony has been actively involved in the ASU Construction Alumni Association and the Advisory Council for the ASU Del Webb School of Construction and is a member of the College of Engineering Industrial Council for Northern Arizona University. He is a past officer of the Phoenix Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and past Chairman of the Western Council of Construction Consumers (WCCC). In addition, he is a past Board Member of Habitat for Humanity and Valley of the Sun and presently on the Foundation Board for Arizona Character Counts.
