General
- What qualities should a prospective graduate student posses to be admitted into the School's graduate program?
Strong academic background, some experience (knowledge of) construction industry, initiative and desire to continue in the industry and improve it.
- Are there any disadvantages to non-resident applicants compared to residents being accepted?
There is no distinction between a resident and non-resident in the admissions process.
- * How does part time and full time school enrollment play a part in being accepted?
The program is designed to be completed at your pace. We have no distinction between full or part time students.
- Does not having completed all of the deficiency courses before applying play a part in being accepted? If so, how?
It does not play a big role. This is determined on an individual basis. It will greatly affect the amount of time it takes to complete the degree.
- If a student is deficient in any area, is it better for that student to apply to the School's graduate program after completing the deficiency?
Not necessarily. Cases are evaluated on an individual basis.
- Is there a set format for Letters of Recommendation?
There is no set format. Traditional business style is fine.
- What are the University and Department Codes for ETS?
University Code: 4007 Department Code: 99 (Other)
- Can I transfer credits from another institution?
Credits can be transferred as long as they meet the transfer criteria and are approved by the Supervisory Committee.
- Is a dual MBA and Masters in Construction Management offered?
It is not a standard degree path but it is possible and has been done before. I can help you with that if that is what you decide to do.
